Hi all,
Microsoft Outlook client "hangs" when employ change from their mailbox to their shared mailbox.
I disabled cache of shared mailbox only and MS Outlook does not show alter that it is attempting to connect to MS Exchange Online server.
Is there a way to "reset" cache of Exchange shared mailbox only?
I would avoid to "reset" MS Outlook cache completely...

Employees are running MS Outlook 365 and it is updated to the latest release.

Thanks a lot
Federico

Unfortunately, there is not. the shared mailboxes are cached in the same .ost file as your own mailbox.

    Hi @Federico Coppola

What about checking the link here which introduces the methods disable the caching of shared mail folders, the Outlook status bar displays Online when you select a shared mail folder in another mailbox in the navigation pane.

Shared mail folders are downloaded in Cached mode by default in Outlook 2010 and later versions

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\outlook\cached mode
    DWORD: downloadsharedfolders, value: 0

And Disable Download of All Shared Folders
You can disable the caching of all shared folders when you are using a Cached mode profile. This includes shared mail folders and shared non-mail folders. This setting is available in the OCT and in the Group Policy template.
