In Outlook Email (NOT on the web), I would like the focus policy to move with my cursor, So, If my cursor in in the body of the email, I would like scrolling arrows to scroll the email body. If the cursor is in the mail box, I would like to scroll through emails. This is easily done in UNIX/C but I can't find anything in the registry or elsewhere to change the focus policy.

    Hi @Tony Blake ,

    Welcome to our forum!

As I know, when the cursor in in the body of the email, we can scroll the scroll wheel in the middle of the mouse to scroll the email body. However, when the cursor is in the email list or folder list, we can only scroll the list by scrolling the wheel in the middle of the mouse, instead of directly opening the mail at the corresponding position with the scrolling position of the wheel. This is by design, and I have done a lot of research for it and couldn't find the registry to change.

As a workaround, it's suggested that you could use the blank key or the up and down keys on the keyboard to preview each message in the list one by one.

    Hope to help you!
