In the Grafana cloud instance, I created an Azure Data Explorer data source. When I try to create a dashboard panel, it is not possible to create a query, shows an error:
Datasource schema loaded but without any databases and tables, please try again
My expectation is to display a dropdown list for database, table, etc.
Did check multiple times that the used service principal has permissions as a viewer.
Any idea why it cannot retrieve full shema?

When you say "Grafana cloud instance", is it Azure Managed Grafana?
Could you please share more details on how exactly are you connecting Azure Data Explorer as a data source in Grafana.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it is a Grafana instance hosted by Grafana.
Actually, I followed this article, it is very useful resource. But somehow did not work in my case.

No, have not raised it yet on Grafana forums.
Tried to use it with Azure Managed Grafana, and it works just fine in this case.
