Hi All,

What If we move the SQL server to Azure and we don't have Software Assurance eligible.

What all options do we have to get the licensing put right in place for MS.

Do we need to create another server purchased from Azure market place and add it. What if we move the server with SPLA licensing, what options do we have to convert.

Given that we have other stuff rolling out from that SQL Server so cant turn it off all together.

Regards,
Sam

@Sambhav Sharma

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

I would request you to reach out to LicenseQ to get this scenario addressed. Alternatively, as this SQL licensing is not related to AVD, I would recommend you to reach your license sales partner.

Hope that helps.
