Setting up Parent Item and Child Item in NAV 2016

Question

Hi. We are using NAV 2016 and would like to set a parent item code and child item code for our operations. We procure the Beef meat in one master item code and sells in different item code based on meat cuts (Chuck, RIB, Short LOIN, etc). How this can be done with NAV with all proper cost flow and inventory. Please help.
