NFTS Permissions on SoFS (Storage Spaces Direct)

I am trying to figure out why Domain Admins do not have permissions to file shares on our SoFS. We are using it for Folder Redirection for our terminal server users and the owner of the folder is the user. However we have gave domain admins permissions, but it always errors out when we give the permissions and same for when we try to add inherited permissions. Any suggestions?
