Why MS edge 64 bit browser installed in Program files(x86) folder?
In short this behavior is by design, but I'm not sure why this decision was made. This is an old issue, Google Chrome has moved the installation path to the Program Files folder, Microsoft Edge has not implemented this yet.
By the way, the installation path doesn't affect the launch and usage of the Microsoft Edge, so you don't have to worry about it.
