Hi,

Is windows power plan and HP Power settings (Static High Performance mode) are almost similar or it is different?

    Hi Fahrid95,

    One of these options is the Microsoft Windows generic power plan and the other is specific to your HP hardware. I would recommend that you use the HP specific plan, even if their contents are very similar. This is due to the manufacturer knowing their hardware best and you will get the best power performance as a result.

    Fundamentally the plans are most likely very similar.

    The high-performance mode is the default by Windows and the HP is the default by the HP.
    There might be some differences and you will need to check this with the HP support.
    You may compare settings manually and see what differences are.
