hi team,

i want to deploy azure virtual desktop for personal use and not pooled use. based on your experience, will I still need FSlogix in this case? or because its personal there is no need

logging out/logging in will keep the data that i used to work on in my previous sessions or no?

thanks in advance folks

    Hi @eg1995 ,

if you use personal assigned VMs in a AVD host pool there is no requirement for FSLogix.
The user profile is stored locally on the VM and as long the user get's access to his assigned VM there is no need for a "central stored user profile" in my opinion.
