Have the DBA team detailed any improvements managing SQL instances in Azure versus AWS? Would it be possible to leverage a SQL MI (managed instance) DB or DW?

    If you are looking in SQL Server perspective Azure is the way to go. If you have AD on-premises which you are trying to move on cloud again Azure is what I would recommend. For others it depends on your configuration. money and to some extent choice.

    We are planning migration and looking at options at Azure and AWS . Want an SQL expert opinion if Azure is a better platform than AWS.
