Windows Credential Manager permission management

Hi,

I would like to ask if someone knows whether Microsoft plans to enhance the Credental Manager with permission management. Right now, any process running under certain user has full read/write access to all the credentials stored for that particular user. However, it would be very useful if each secret can be assigned its own individual permissions, ie. 'this signed app is eligible for read/write to this secret, this other signed app is eligible for read-only, everyone else is denied'.

Hi Zajic-1246,

Windows is being constantly enhanced and improved. There is no official documentation available on whether or not Credential Manager will be enhanced in future releases.
