The corporate design of the university I work at uses the NexusSerif Pro font. A font that offers the option to add ascenders and descenders to numbers by default.

I would like no ascenders and descenders in the numbers. This works throughout the document. Except for page numbers. Although I can change the font - settings such as strikethrough, color, bold, italics are taken over correctly, just not the "Number forms" of numbers. This only does not work for page numbers. The problem exists in both the German and English versions of Office 2019.

I'm using Office 2019 Standard. The problem only occurs on my computer with Office 2019 Standard. The problem does not exist on my other computer with Office 2016 Pro Plus.

Booth Versions are updated.

Try modifying the settings of the Page Number character style. Turn off all the Open Type settings.
