I know that we can enable IE on edge through Edge browser for IE 11 desktop application. My question here, Is all IE 11 supported external browser and IE 11 desktop appilcation will stop working on June 15, 2022 onwards. Are we will be getting additional time for certain Windows platforms. Find the below details which i have captured from internet.

"The Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application will be retired on June 15, 2022, for certain versions of Windows 10."
After being retired on June 15, 2022, the Internet Explorer desktop application will be disabled and out of support, automatically redirecting the users to Microsoft Edge when launched.
The IE11 retirement impacts Internet Explorer 11 desktop apps delivered via the Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) to systems running Windows 10 client SKUs (version 20H2 and later) and Windows 10 IoT (version 20H2 and later).

    HI @James J
    on some machines it stopped working

    Here's the updated step-by-step guide to Using Internet Explorer within Edge:

    1. In the top corner of the browser, select Settings -> Default Browser.
    2. Select under Internet Explorer Compatibility
      • Allow Internet Explorer to open websites in Microsoft Edge: Incompatible websites only (recommended);
      • Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode: Allow;
      • Internet Explorer mode pages: add the desired site ex https://www.google.com.br
    3. Click “Restart” to close and open Edge again.

    After the procedure, the desired portal will open in IE and EDGE.

    Hi there,

    If you have noticed the service is stopped for certain versions of Windows 10. Internet Explorer (IE) 11 is the last major version of Internet Explorer. Starting June 15, 2022, the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will no longer be supported on certain versions of Windows 10.

    Please go here to search for your product's lifecycle for finding those versions https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/
