How to delete an extension manually?

My Visual studio is the lastest version. I installed the Wix toolset Visual Studio 2022 Extension, but it didn't work, so I consider this extension broken. But I cannot uninstall it from visual studio, is there a way to delete it manually?

Could you tell me how you uninstall the Wix toolset Visual Studio 2022 Extension? Please uninstall it under Extensions > Manage Extensions > Installed.

It seems be a known issue. You can also vote it and add your comment there to track the process.

Thanks for reply. The link you provided are not the same problem I encountered. My problem is that I can install the wix extension for visual studio 2022 from the extension marketplace, after finishing this installation, then restart visual studio, I cannot see that extension in Entensions->Installed. I think there is some problem with that extension with the lasteset version of visual studio.

Finally, I uinstalled that extension using the vsix file of that extension. If I installed it again, I found that I will uninstall the previous installation, when I saw the message Uninstall wix ...., I cancel this installation. But this method is extremely inconvenient.

please close all running VS instances and update your VS 2022 to the latest version. Does it work fine now?

"LTSC 17.2.7 August 9, 2022 Enterprise Professional Build Tools 17.2.32802.462"

Per-user and administrative extensions
Most extensions are per-user and are installed in the ** %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\<Visual Studio version>\Extensions\ ** folder. A few extensions are administrative extensions and are installed in the ** <Visual Studio installation folder>\Common7\IDE\Extensions\ ** folder.

Thanks. I saw this folder, can I delete the folder of some special extension directly? The answaer may be no, I think.
