WSUS update import error

Question

Hello

I have one wsus server in my infra and when i trie to impor the updade kb4078407 to wsus server i'm getting the error:

You cannot import these updates into Windows Server Update Services, because you do not have the necessary applicability information.

But if i selevt donwload i'm available to do it.

Is there any other way like powershell to import do wsus the update already downloaded?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
I'm afraid there is no way to do this. We can not import downloaded updates to WSUS, we can only import metadata of update to WSUS. We can see more details about the error message when we import the update, it mentioned some updates may not have the needed applicability information (in other words, the logic that determines whether an update should be installed). These types of updates cannot be imported.

And we can see the documentation of this update, we can only get this update from Microsoft Update Catalog website.
