Windows 11 keeps setting Display settings to Show only 1.

I have 2 Benq monitors. A PD3220U and a PD2700U. For some reason, every-time I reboot the Display settings revert back to Show only 1. I've already change it to Extend these displays over 50 times. Everything is great until I reboot. Why won't it keep the Display settings to Extend these displays?

    Hi HeathBishop-2728,

Most of the time using the Video adapter manufacturers Control panel to save these setting is better.

If you are using Windows to configure your multi display and have the manufacturers Control panel installed at the same time. They may sometimes interfere with each other.

If you want to use Windows only, Uninstall all other CP's and use only the video driver without any additional software.

Or better Leave Windows as is and use only manufacturers one.

I was having this problem as well. What I did to fix it was switch the monitor cables so that the main display was on the monitor that was not showing up when I would reboot. I have a 43" TCL 4K TV as my main monitor (now after I switched cables) and a Dell 27" 4K monitor as my extended monitor. I don't understand why this worked, but it did. I hope it works for you.
