Outlook profile won't load

I 'm working on a project to migrate Windows 10 laptops from a legacy domain. After successfully migrating to the new domain I have a few machines whose locally copy of Outlook (O365) won't load the user's profile and just hangs on the Outlook splash screen. All other O365 apps work fine and show the user's account as logged in. I've tried creating a new mail profile, confirmed there are no MSOffice stored credentials in the Credential Manager, and run the MS SARA utility and the repair utilities built into the Control Panel add/remove, all to no avail.

TIA for any ideas!

    Hi @IT Tech

From your description, is Outlook stuck on a screen that simply says "Processing"?
If this case, it is recommend you use the followig troubleshooting:

    • Check the version of the Outlook client(File > Office Account > About Outlook), and make sure that you upgrade it to the latest(File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now)
    • Sometimes addins may also lead to the error, run outlook in safe mode: Win+R, type outlook.exe /safe.
    • If above doesn't help, try repairing office by following these steps:
Open Control Panel > Programs and Features > In the list of installed programs, right-click Microsoft Office > Change.
