I have a colleague who reported this issue to us.
Majority of calls made by the user crash with the error "Sorry we couldn't connect you".
Many calls initiated by the user that do not crash have no video or sound. Calls that work usually crash when the user attempts to screen share.
Tested fixes
- We have tested this user on a mobile hotspot instead of their usual home network.
- The user has tested the web version of Teams and encounters similar issues.
- We have issued a brand new laptop with freshly installed Windows & Teams.
None of these fixes have worked and the issues are still present. The only constant is the user's Teams account.
Please note that these issues are not present when the user joins a scheduled meeting from the Teams or Outlook calendar.o or sound. Calls that work usually crash when the user attempts to screen share.
