Odd Microsoft Teams Version Causing Issues

While in the Public Preview version of Teams it updated itself to version 1.5.00.15923 (64-bit)-E. When it updated it disabled my ability to pop out apps and removed several other preview features of Teams as well. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixes this issue until I go back into the Public Preview. We have a small group who tests the Public Preview version and none of them are having this issue and they are on version 1.5.00.16074 (64-bit).

This issue is happening on both Windows 11 and Windows 10 devices.

They do not seem to have the "-E" that I have at the end of mine. What does this -E mean and how do I keep myself from getting updated to that version?

    Hi @Ryan Jacobs ,

From what I am aware of, "-E" means Experimental. It's just part of the the Teams new versions release process and actually customers have no control over this.

By the way, are you a member of the Technology Adoption Program (TAP) which will get new versions earlier than others? See this link.
