Greetings!

We're getting exception code 0xc0000005 from Outlook.exe when running O365 Apps for Enterprise on 21H1 and 21H2, with it just arbitrarily crashing as much as every 30 minutes or less. Full clean reinstalls have been done, new profiles created, cached mode disabled and reenabled, and the issues persist, affecting multiple users. It's being observed on multiple machines of different models, both for computers which are configured in our domain environment and on users' home PCs. I haven't been able to find any reports of this though, nor any resolutions. Is anyone else experiencing this, and is this a known issue and our Google Fu is just too weak, or is this somehow only impacting us? Any assistance which can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Ryan B ,

    Welcome to our forum!

What's the version of your Outlook 365? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version. And based on my search, I didn't find any official articles intruduced it's a known issue.

According to your description, I notice that the issue occurs in several machine. Do these machines have anything in common, such as installing some third-party add ins, programs and running some scripts?

Considering the impact of some add ins, It is suggested that you try to start outlook in safe mode(win+R>type: outlook /safe) to check whether it works normally.

On the other hand, considering the impact of some third-party programs on your computer, please try to perform a clean boot for windows and check if the issue still occur.

In addition, I found a thread and some users mentioned that it's useful to try a command to reset the view settings: win+R> type: outlook /cleanviews. It's suggested that you could try it and check if there're any differences.
(This command will delete all custom view settings. If you need to keep other view settings, please remember to back up.)

If the above doesn't help, it's suggested that you could try to use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to check if there're any problems, which works by running tests to figure out what's wrong and offers the best solution for the identified problem.

    Hope the above help!
