Azure Information Protection Plan 2 Funtionality and Pricing

We are working on a project that we need to disable screen shots for emails and block attachments downloads so we decided to use Business Premium M365 as it has the Intune and Azure information Protection Plan 1. During more investigation we found that AIP plan 2 has the feature of controlling oversharing the information when using Outlook.

The question is does the AIP Plan 1 can achieve this functionality ? and if not does the AIP plan 2 can be added to Buisiness premium as ad on or we need to purchase a whole E5 Security + Mobility ?

Preventing oversharing in Outlook requires the AIP Premium P2 plan.

This is documented in the feature comparison list. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/azure-information-protection#feature-availability

You can assign licenses per user so you can have mixed licenses or add the AIP plan 2 by itself, so you shouldn't need the full E5 plan for this. As a sidenote, if you wanted to keep users in the same repository, using the AIP scanner in "discover" mode would require just the P1 license, but using the AIP scanner to apply classification, labeling, or protection would require the P2 license.

Thanks for your feedback . AIP plan 2 add on is retired to buy as add on product so that you can add it Buisiness Premium

What the right add on to choose for just adding the AIP plan 2 functionality to Buisiness premium ? , we need the most cost effective solution .
