What is being indexed

9 logical drives for about 49 TB of storage
Microsoft Outlook (on the list, but changed in the registry per MS)
Start menu
No network mapped drives

------------------------

What is/has been done already
Chkdsk run daily on all disks
Malwarebytes premium scans run daily
DISM (CheckHealth, ScanHealth, RestoreHealth) run hourly
SFC run hourly
Windows updates installed when they arrive
Have rebuilt the search index twice. The search service stops after most of the building of the index is complete.
I have done a repair upgrade twice. SearchIndexer stops after it builds most of the index.
The system has been restarted many many times and doesn't solve the problem
I can and have created additional admin accounts.
There are no mapped network drives that are being searched
I have not done a clean boot (I'll have to wait several days for the index to be rebuilt again)
Note that Exception code: 0xc0000374 is a corrupted heap, so that it is a system or SearchIndexer issue

    Hi there,

I would suggest you uninstall any recent updates and see if that resolves the issue as it seems you have tried most of the suggested troubleshooting methods.

If this is not helpful then you can try the In-place update to quickly sort the issue instead of running behind various troubleshooting steps.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
