We have a Microsoft Server 2012 (HP Proliant) that loses connection on a regular base. It started with once a month, once a week and now almost every day at random times. We already upgraded everything including the switches and firewall. The only thing that helps is rebooting the whole machine or just disconnect te UTP cable en reconnect it, after that it works fine again. The networksettings are static and the server also hosts the DHCP server itself. Pretty much tried eveything now, so hopefully some reckognises the problem.

Connection to what? How are you evaluating? Domain or workgroup? Might compare the results of ipconfig /all before and after. Also check the network profile has not changed from expected.

Hello @Anonymous , i will get back as soon as i have the info. I have to be on premises when it happens before employees unplug the cable (because they have to continue working). So when i have the info in the next couple of days i will post it.
