Developing and testing features or extensions for Microsoft Edge
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Several users have reported that the IE Mode options within Edge (found in edge://settings/defaultBrowser) suddenly disappeared. These were there prior to 6-16-2022 as the users were testing site compatibilities and working in those screens frequently. The missing options are "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode" and "Internet Explore mode pages"
options should be under Internet Explorer Compatibility section:
Version is 102.0.1245.44 (Official build) (64-bit)
We have deployed the Enterprise Mode Site List and that's a workaround, but we need this group of users to be able to use the Local Site List controls as they are software engineers still working on compatibility testing and need to add sites to IE Mode quickly.
I'm not aware of policies that would remove these, but of course could have overlooked one.

Internet Explorer compatibility not available in my Edge browser. browser is up to date.
Hi @PM-0284
As far as I know, if you fail to meet the local site list prerequisites, these 2 options will go missing. Please check this doc and pay attention to those KB prerequisites. You can check it and tell us the result.

This is happening to me as well, only on some pc's.
The computers I am working on differ and are not on my network, so policy settings are not an option for me. What I am noticing is that all the affected computers appear to be running an older version of IE, IE 10 v.1020.124544, to be specific.
Since settings are pulled from IE, I am guessing that is where the issue lies.
