Unable to create VM using Azure for Students Subscription

I am not able to create any VM in Azure using the Azure for Students subscription. I am feeling weird because what is the use of having a subscription and not being able to create a sample VM in the cloud of any OS.
Can anyone please respond to this?

The site sticky covers this in more detail but there is currently high demand for Azure VMs. If you are unable to create a VM resource, try less popular areas (many students have reported success starting with Australia).
