why excel taking time to open?

Hi,

anyone has a clue for below issue?

MS Excel is taking time to open a file showing "Opening: PPTToExcel.xla". and its taking 10 minutes for this add-in.

tried to disable pivot to excel add-in. but no luck.

    With no other information it is hard to say. If the document has any sort of code that runs at open/startup then that could cause it. You should probably contact MS Support and let them take a look.

    Alternatively run Office in Safe Mode. If it opens quickly then it is probably either the code in the file or an extension. At that point I'd probably disable the extensions and try again.

    Are you slow to open every Excel file?
    Can you try running Excel in safe mode first and see if it's still slow? Safe mode requires you to hold down Ctrl and double click to open the Excel file.
    You can also uncheck the "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" box in the Excel settings, which can sometimes solve the problem.
