Hello @Testa ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & hope you are doing well.
I understand that your customer would like to get breakdown charges of CDN as CDN Static Zone 2: Asia Pacific, Japan was charged more than USD1400.
You can refer the below doc to understand Azure CDN billing in detail:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cdn/cdn-billing?toc=%2Fazure%2Ffrontdoor%2FTOC.json
As per the Azure CDN pricing FAQ,
Your Content Delivery Network outbound data transfers are aggregated each month during your billing cycle. For Standard and Premium outbound data transfers the first 10 TB are charged at the first price point, the next 40 TB at the second, and so on. For example, if you use 50 TB of Standard data transfers in Zone 1, 10 TB will be billed at $0.081 per GB, and the next 40 TB will be billed at $0.075 per GB. For Acceleration outbound data transfers the same process is used with the first 50 TB being used for the first price point.
I'm not sure which CDN product your customer is using but if I take Azure CDN Standard from Microsoft, then yes for CDN static Zone 2, the price for 11 TB is US$1,442.94. If I take Azure CDN Standard from Verizon/Akamai, then it also has an additional field of Acceleration Data transfers. If DSA is configured on your CDN, then you need to consider the acceleration data transfer cost as well.
You can download usage reports through the Azure portal or the EA portal to view the specific usage and cost of the CDN.
