Exchange mail search inside db on prem after migration to 365

In a hybrid deployment of exchange 2013 last month I've migrated a mailbox to 365. Now the user says that some mail are missing. I search on 365 with ps command but I don't find the emails. Could I still search the email inside on prem db.

    Ok, so unless you have an old backup you can restore to a recovery database, you wont be able to do this

    Possibly.
    If its less then 30 days, you can check following this doc to restore it to a different AD account with a mailbox restore request and open it up
