Microsoft Authenticator Code Won't Allow to Login

Hello,
I was using my university email ID since 17 years. 2 weeks ago i received notification in my email app on mobile that i need to re-sign-in, when I tap it was asking for microsoft authenticator code, that I never set-up. Then I downloaded authenticator app and when tried to add that account there, also it was asking for code.
Now I am not able to login anywhere it seems I totally lost my account. Is there any other way to login, alternate email and mobile umber is registered with that account?
