Redistribute all failed packages/apps to a DP again

I have a DP that failed to receive many packages/apps, and now I want to force redistribute all again.

What is the best way to do that?

POSSIBILITY: (test test test test). Console. Administration. Distribution Points.
Find that DP. right-click, Properties. go to the "Content" Tab.
See all the content. pick one or two "small" ones, and try just "Validate" first. Wait the appropriate amount of time for your environment.

If "Validate" wasn't good enough, then pick those same 'small' ones and try "Redistribute". Wait the appropriate amount of time for your evvironment, monitor under Monitoring, and/or monitor the logs for sender.log, and despool.log.

    Hi,

Agree with Sherry, about content validation in SCCM on DP, we could refer to this screenshot:

And distributing failure, we could check distmgr.log, it records details about content distribution requests.

The "Validate Content" option try to resend "only" the failed packages? Because, using content tab is hard to find, and select, the failed packages one by one, you know?

    Hi,

No, if we click the validate content option, it will validate the content automatically, the validation runs based on a schedule. By default the validation occurs once a week on Saturday. When we activate the content validation, you can monitor the smsdpmon.log.

    Here is the related article:

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

About distmgr.log, could we know there is any error in it?

Besides, if above solution does not work, we could try to uninstall the DP to check it is solved.
