Hi,
i'm on windows 11 insider preview. dev channel.
I have visual studio 2022 pro installed
i had sql management studio 18 installed and it was workng without a problem

Then suddenly it stopped working, when i run it i receive an error saying that Visual studio 2017 isolated shell was not found.
I looked for download and it does not exist.
I uninstalled management studio 18 and installed management studio 17
After install i received an error saying that Vs 2015 isolated shell was not present (even if the product is shown in installed app)
I tried to repair it.. but the problem persist

I uninstalled studio management 17 and tried to install beta 2 of management studio 19 .
Same issue .. vs 2017 isoltaed shell cannot be found

Any suggestion ?
i wouldn't want to reformat my pc.

Tks in advance
Fabrizio

    Hi @Fiammenghi Fabrizio ,

This is a known issue in windows 11 Preview. You can vote below feedbacks that has same issue with you. Then you can wait for MS fix or move away from this Win11 Insider preview if you want to use SSMS.

help ssms18 start error ,Cannot find one or more components. Please reinstall the application.
