One of my Organizations users can't vido chat with external Users in Microsoft Teams

Hi All,

One of my organization's Users can't video chat with external Users in Microsoft Teams. Others Users don't experience this problem. All of my settings allow for external users in MS Teams.

    Hi @Fredy ,

    Please can you try and see if any of these work:

    1. Recreating the user profile on Computer A
    2. A brand new Computer that the user has never logged into before
    3. Reinstall Teams app
    4. Flatten the Teams app cache
    5. Under Settings > Devices - can you place post a screenshot of all of the settings

    Hi Fredy,

    Video internal is working fine for this user also in a meeting?
    If the Audio&Video meeting policy is the same for all user. I would check the driver for the camera.

    Hi @Fredy ,

    Some things I would check:

    External Access:

    1. Login to Teams Admin Center (https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/)
    2. Browse Users > External access
    3. Ensure Choose which external domains your users have access to is appropriately set, and if you lock it down to external domains - ensure the one you're contacting is in there
    4. Ensure Teams accounts not managed by an organization is On

    Meeting Policy:

    1. Login to Teams Admin Center (https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/)
    2. Users > Manage users
    3. Find your user and select Policies
    4. Make note of the Meeting policy assigned eg. Default
    5. Browse Meetings > Meeting policies
    6. Select the Meeting policy that was assigned to the user
    7. Ensure Mode for IP video is set to Outgoing and incoming video enabled
    8. Ensure IP video is On

    Local user device

    • Ensure up-to date drivers are installed for the users Webcam
    • Ensure the Teams app is up-to date
    • You can make a test call and check camera settings under Settings > Devices within Teams app
    • What happens if you try another Teams app? Eg. Web: https://teams.microsoft.com Mobile etc.
