Hello,

Exchange 2010 onprem. 0 mailboxes
M365 tenant.50 mailboxes
AAD connect server.50 user accounts synced to Azure AD.
No hybrid connectors.

I want to disable AD synchronization and have duplicate AD accounts.
Is this all what I need to do?

After removing sync,wait for 72h,decomission Exchange 2010 and mailboxes will work fine after that?

Thank you

    @fsdg

    You could follow this article to uninstall the last Exchange server and stop AAD sync: Scenario one

    You could disable AAD Connector in the step 7:

    Then uninstall Exchange on-premises server in the step 8.
