Turn Off Remote Connection in settings via registry

Hi, I found a thread on here via search from 2016 called "Anniversary Update - Turn Off Remote Connection in settings via registry"

Similar to the screenshot on that thread, on the page "Settings" > "For developers" there is a setting called "Change settings to allow remote connections to this computer"

I want to untick this checkbox, but when I do, it ticks it again after I close the window and re-open it. Why is it trying to force me to allow remote desktop?

    Hi @Ilikecats ,

    Have you tried this?

Start the registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe). Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server. Double-click fDenyTSConnections. Change the value of this setting to 0 to enable Remote Desktop or 1 to disable it, and click OK.
