Can seem to get the JSRuntime working in my Blazor application

I keep getting the following error

System.ArgumentException: 'Cannot instantiate implementation type 'Microsoft.JSInterop.JSRuntime' for service type 'Microsoft.JSInterop.IJSRuntime'.'

Whether your Blazor Application is a Blazor Server Application or a Blazor WebAssembly Application?

You can refer the following steps or sample code to Call JavaScript functions from .NET methods in ASP.NET Core Blazor:

Add the following JS code inside the closing </body> tag of wwwroot/index.html (Blazor WebAssembly) or Pages/_Layout.cshtml (Blazor Server):

Then, in the Blazor component, add the Microsoft.JSInterop reference and inject the IJSRuntime, then call the Javascript fucntion:
