How to change email address for onedrive.

G'day there.
It's 2022 now, so is there finally a way to change the email address on my OneDrive and 365 Account?
I have a *********@Stuff .com email tied to it and I would like to change it to my ********@harsh.com .com email.
Surely there is a way to change the associated email account in this day and age?

Unfortunately, because the email address I want to change it to is already being used, I get this error message:

"This email address is already taken. Please try another one."
