App disappears from trial account

In following the exercises I created a model app in my trial environment and published it. The next day it was no longer available or visible or searchable. Does the trial account delete apps? More importantly if I am a paying subscriber, can I rely on published apps staying available?

It's a model driven app that will be shared through Teams.
