Azure Functions which use Java only support versions 8 and 11. When will the new versions become available?

    I am updating the answer as I have ETA update.

    The Azure Functions team is actively working on supporting Java 17. They are working on a public preview date and it will be shared in the upcoming days. The current ETA for Java 17 Public Preview is the end of this September 2022.

    I will update this thread as we get more information/clarity.
