Azure VM login failed

Hi Team,

I have created new Azure VM in JP (tried with both Japan East & Japan West) but after creating VM not able to login using same provided userID & password. Getting error as "Credentials didn't work" and logon failed.

Have tried to create VM in other region with same details and able to login.

Is there any restriction on JP VM login and any known issue ?

Are you using local administrator account to log in to these VMs or is your VM domain joined?
If you are using local account credentials, then can you try to reset your username and password from the Azure portal (Reset password option from the VM blade), and let me know if logging in to the Azure VM using the new set of local account credentials works for you or not? Looking forward to your response.

I have tried to reset but it failed again & again with below error. Using local Administrator account.

@Baharul Islam , can you check if the VM agent status is in ready state?
Also, could you try running the below command from Azure Cloud Shell (PowerShell) and then retry resetting password?

$vm=Get-AzVM -ResourceGroupName <rg-name> -Name <vm-name> Update-AzVM -ResourceGroupName <rg-name> -VM $vm

Hi @srbhatta-MSFT , below command executed successfully but its throw same error again when try to re-set password. In mean time I have created another VM in same region with below configuration and its getting same issue

Standard B2s (2 vcpus, 4 GiB memory)
Windows (Windows Server 2019 Datacenter)

my vm is joined in a domain, what should I do in that case (I am also facing similar issue)
