Hi,
I have a new mobile device and try to install and configure Outlook to connect to our on premise Exchange server.
We have a MS office 365 account using the same email address but don't use Exchange online.
Unfortunately Outlook identifies that a 365 account exists and tries to connect to the Exchange online services. As there is no mail account on this service Outlook gets connect time out.
Why is it not possible to connect to a on premise Exchange server if an account with the same email exists on 365. On my old deice I was able to configure the exchange connect manually but the current Outlook version doesn't offer this option anymore!
Any other email account I was able to configure manually, but not if an Office 365 account exists...

    Hi @Jürgen Rausch ,

May I ask do you mean that outlook for android auto-detect this account type is office365 instead of shows the page of select the account type? If I misunderstood your question, please feel free to correct me.
If it is this situation, please have a check which version of outlook. For my test with the version 4.2220.0 , I can click the “back” button in the page of enter password to go to in the page of select the account type. Then reselect and configure to connect to the on-premises Exchange server.
(If there is not back button in the page, you could use the device that comes with it.)
