PC Constantly freezed up mid-use, then out of nowhere a BSOD(BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO) error

This happened before, and I did a system restore, which worked. But now I can't get in via administrator because it tells me my password is wrong despite me changing it 3 times and repeating the letters word by word to do another system restore. Is it just me?
