Excel file not generated although log show no error when exporting excel file from report

Hi,

Report fail to export Excel via Report Web Service Url. Checking on the SSRS logs, there is no error and it shows report is executed successfully

There is no prompt to open or save excel file when export to excel. However, Report could be exported to Excel successfully via Report Web Portal Url.

This only start occurring recently in May 2022 was working fine before that

Hope someone encounter this and can help advise how to solve this. Thanks

    What version of SSRS are you using?
    I tested locally and everything works fine.

    I exported the report in EXCEL format successfully.

    The web service URL is the backend, used by the frontend (and can also be used in its own application), when you deploy reports from tools like report designer/report generator, you will need to use the backend web service URL. For just exporting/managing reports, you can use the web portal.
