Hi team,

Actually in my SharePoint production environment we have around 3 lakh users are synchronized in user profile service application, 27-06-2022 onwards users are started to reduce and
those removed users couldn't able to access the SharePoint applications.
when we are checking on next day morning the users reduced to 20000 in user profile service application.
My site clean up job ran 9 hours 35 minutes time on 27/06/2022.

The users are in active in Active Directory.

Please share the root cause for this issue.

    Hi @ ChandraMounikaKatta-4911,

What version of SharePoint do you use?
In generally, the My Sites Cleanup timer job will delete active users on two situations:

    1. When you use the web UI in Central Administration to delete a user profile.
    2. When a user who was included in a previous user profile import is no longer included in the import.

Cause the timer job to delete the active user may be due to the user meeting the exclusion filter conditions, this design applies to the user is no longer part of the user profile synchronization.

did you try to check user profile synchronization logs? (e.g with MIISClient like suggested here: sharepoint 2010 AD user profile synchronization log file location. Note that it may be located in different location for SP2016)
