Solution (sln) file comments

Question

Hello.
How can I just comment a solution (sln) file session?
I could not find any reference in sln file docs (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/extensibility/internals/solution-dot-sln-file?view=vs-2019 for example).
By now I made a copy of the file and delete lines, recovering them from the copy.
I tried with a "#" at the beginning of each line but it doesn't work.

Hi David.
I think you can mark my question as a duplicate of the former one.
The issue still remains, yet: have anyone thought of improving the documentation I was refering to in my question or rather solve it improving reading syntax capabilities... I asked for it since I sometimes need to "suspend" some linking exactly as the owner of the thread you are quoting...
