Then create DWORD entry ForceRefreshRate and change its DECIMAL value to the refresh rate of your monitor.

when i go to display settings, i dont see 240hz i have a 240hz monitor with an i9 10900k rtx 3080 32gb ram but i only have 120hz can u make a video of u doing the steps that u wrote down?
