Data gone after recovery process on Microsoft Authenticator app

Recently done a factory reset on my IOS device (full back up done). However, when accessing the Microsoft Authenticator app, there was an error. Even after I click on 'Start Recovery', my entire data stored in the authenticator app are gone... only stored passwords were recovered... what happened...?
