VS 2022 Search and Replace

I am trying really hard to like VS2022 but it has some really annoying behaviour.
In VS 2008 Ctrl + F and Ctrl + H brought up a detailed search or search and replace panel, VS 2022 pops up a small window which I find very hard to see let alone use.
Is there a way to tell it to use the old behaviour?
I can't seem to just replace text just in a selection which I used a lot and found very useful, is there a way to get that behaviour back please?

    For advanced operations, try pressing <Ctrl+Shift+F> or <Ctrl+Shift+H>.

    What an odd design decision but it fits in with making things prettier while hiding functionality.

    I suppose there's no hope of getting the "programmers' font" back?
