Hi everyone, I hope you're all good its been a while since I've been here.

I've recently built a mini itx PC with an nvme ssd. The bios is set to uefi for all options and everything was working until I tried to reinstall Win 10 Pro. The installation is successful up to the reboot point when it hangs after the bios/uefi. My guess is its the old windows boot manager looking for the previous os. How can I clear that from the uefi? Or if it isn't that what could be causing it? Its the same install media that I used as the previous install.

    Hi DarrenLomax-1472,

Make sure all other drives and peripherals are unplugged. Update the BIOS or UEFI firmware to the latest, or reset to Defaults, making sure SATA controller is set to AHCI, UEFI is enabled, CSM or Legacy BIOS disabled, Windows Boot Manager set first to boot, and if necessary disable Secure and Fast Boot until after install.

Also, It's possible the boot media is corrupt. I would try making another bootable copy and check the issue.

Here is a link that has some additional troubleshooting steps which you can try and see if helps in overcoming your issue
