Hi all,

Since last month I had a problem with excel and Power Query and the data source.
I have several reports with connections to other excel files. Those files are in the Company Sharepoint.
The connection to the files were done through the Sharepoint URL as: https://copmanyURL.com/:f:/r/sites/FolderName/ExcelFile.xlsx

This worked flawless for several months, but now it doesn't.

I tried to make again the report file but when I click on "From web" to get the data source and put the xlsx's url, excel does not recognize it as a valid excel file. But if I download the file to my local drive I can add it as data source without problem, so it seems is not a problem in the file it self but a problem with the file being in the Sharepoint folder.

Can you give me a hand?

    @Gonzalo

    Please check whether the path of the excel file is right.

    Go to the SharePoint document library -> Click the excel file -> Open the details panel -> Copy the path.

    Hi, the path is correct, is the same is worked before.

    https://xxxxxxxx.com/sites/XXXXX/Shared%20Documents/General/Incidents%20Temaplate%202022.xlsm

    When I try to connect from the sharepoint now sometimes appears the error:

    InnerException2.Stack Trace Message:
    Specified value has invalid CRLF characters.
    Parameter name: value

    But the same file in local works Ok.
