Are you a newly installed Exchange that can not connect on IMAP, or did you work fine before, but now suddenly can not connect. A lot of servers block port 143 and only allow port 993 (imaps), this may cause you to be unable to connect successfully. You can check your IMAP configuration by referring to this document:
